Owen is into running, and tries to run at least 15 miles a week. He usually runs with a mixed group of nationalities and professions! He
did the "run" for the 2008, and most recently for the 2009 Tagaman Triathlon. He is an Amateur Radio Operator, with a New
Zealand General Class call, ZL1OG, and holds a United States Extra Class call, KH0EX, as well. Computers take up some of his time,
too, as does reading. He loves a good novel!
Owen is on the church sound roster, and is a greeter as well.
Irene likes walking, is into scrap booking and has done some quilting.
We attend Saipan Community Church, where Irene prepares the
weekly bulletin, and helps with Elementary Sunday School. She helps out at Saipan Community School one day a week, assisting one of
the teachers!
Recently, she has begun volunteering at the local hospital's gift shop. This is a great way of meeting people in the
community!
We both like to snorkel the waters of Saipan, and also, hike and explore the island with our friends.
