Last week, Irene and I attended "Marriage Encounter" - a weekend retreat that is aimed to enhance and build marriages. We really
enjoyed this weekend!
Ed & Jean leave this week.
May 1st
A number of friends have serious and life threatening issues and needs. Please pray that God'sd Wil be done, and His peace to be upon
those affected.
The Exterra Off Road triathlon was held here on April 18. Both Irene and I volunteered, and were on the go from 5.30am,
helping with marshalling and directing the athletes. It was a fun day. Athletes came from all over the world!
May 9th
Tagaman Triathlon was held April 25th. My team came in 2nd place in our division, and 5th out of 18 teams! I did the 9 mile
run.
John & Ruth Stanley left on Saturday Morning, after 2 months of various modifications and tests on our transmitters. We did
DRM (very high quality audio) broadcasts to Russia and China, and had good feedback from listeners. This is a new mode of broadcasting
we may do in the future.

Our friends and co-workers, Dean & Bev Brubaker left today for the states, to "retire." They will leave a huge gap in FEBC Saipan, and at our church. Please pray for them as they set up home, and begin a new chapter in their lives.
Pray for us, too, as we adjust to life and work without them here.
September 24
The Myers Family left FEBC Saipan on Saturday due to medical reasons. Pray for them as they settle back into life in the states. Pray that Steve will find suitable and helpful treatment. The Kimball family arrived back from their furlough during the week, too!

Sorry about the delay in updating...
Typhoon Choi Wan passed us by about 100 miles nortrh of us, with winds of about 50 mph. We suffered only one broken wire in our Russian Antenna! We are thankful to the Lord for His watching over us!
We have NZ friends coming to stay for 2 weeks!!
October 18
Typhoon Melor passed by, not doing any damage to the radio station! Only a few trees were knocked down. God was indeed watching over us!
Geof & Lynette are back in NZ, having really enjoyed their time with us!
October 27
This past weekend we babysat 2 young brothers while their parents attended a Marriage Encounter weekend. We also helped out at the registration evening, and also at one of the meals!
The parents of these boys really appreciated the weekend, and recommend all married couples attend one in their area!
